CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)

ADVISORY ON PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

 

Dear SAFRA members and guests,

MANDATORY TEMPERATURE TAKING AT SAFRA CLUBS & EVENTS

As a precautionary measure in view of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), mandatory temperature taking will be implemented from Mon, 10 Feb 2020, at all SAFRA clubs and SAFRA-organised events held at external venues. All visitors and participants are required to have their temperatures taken and fill in a questionnaire to declare their travel history and contact details to facilitate contact tracing (if required) before gaining entry. No fever (below 38°C) Entry allowed.
Have fever (38°C and above) Entry not allowed. Advised to seek medical attention.
Have fever (38°C and above) and display other symptoms (eg. runny nose, sore throat, cough or shortness of breath) and have travelled to Mainland China within the past 14 days, or have been in close contact with any suspected patients. Entry not allowed. Will be ushered to waiting area to await medical attention.
 

JUST RETURNED FRIM OVERSEAS TRAVEL?

All individuals who have returned from Mainland China after 31 Jan 2020 to refrain from visiting SAFRA clubs and participating in activities for a period of 14 days upon their return to Singapore.

Monitor your health closely for symptoms of the virus infection such as fever, runny nose, sore throat, cough or shortness of breath. Seek immediate medical attention if unwell.

PRACTISE GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE

The ministry of Health (MOH) has also advised the public to remain vigilant and adopt good personal hygiene practices:

facemask Wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms such as a cough or runny nose rat-bird Avoid contact with live animals
meat Avoid eating raw and undercooked meat cough Avoid close contact with people who are unwell or showing symptoms of illness
wash-hands Wash your hands frequently with soap doctor Seek medical attention promptly if you are feeling unwell
