SAFRA Adventure Sports Centre (SASC)’s teambuilding programmes are designed to fulfill your organisation's training objectives.

Going beyond classroom-based programmes, the SASC has adventure elements within its compound that can further illustrate and drive teambuilding as well as other learning attributes like personal confidence, intra-group communications and leadership, just to name a few. Each programme is unique as we customize our programmes to meet the clients' objectives.

We offer exciting amenities like the 18m high Canopy Challenge Walk, 21m high simulted parachute jump, superior climbing facilities as well as props and low elements to challenge and stimulate every experience. With "best-in-class" facilities to support team-based training, we believe that the outdoor activities we offer will provide a refreshing alternative platform for self-discovery and life-long, tangible experience.

Our programmes strive to meet the the demands of our clients. We provide corporate training at other SAFRA clubs, also at clients' premises if suitable. For clients who prefer residential programmes that last over a few days, we have a comprehensive choice from among our off-site (ie. anywhere in Singapore) and offshore (overseas) programmes.

With "best-in-class" facilities to support team-based training, including the 18m Canopy Challenge Walk, 21m Simulated Parachute Jump, various climbing facilities, low element challenges and movable props, we believe that the outdoors activities offered will provide a refreshing alternative platform for self-discovery and life-long, tangible experiences.

Situated at SAFRA Yishun Country Club, the SASC also offers value-added extensions courtesy of the resort-themed clubhouse. A 50m swimming pool complete with training & fun pools, a 42-lane indoor shooting range, a 24-lane bowling centre and a range of good seminar facilities are among some excellent facilities to complete your training endeavour. Our programmes also benefit from Yishun Park which forms the backdrop of the SASC. The creativity and uniqueness this natural landscape offers is certainly an experience not to be missed.

Our Methodology

By using both high and low elements, as well as experiential training as tools, we deliver result-oriented objectives and life-skills learning. We also seek to inculcate self-discovery among team members of your organisation.
 
With challenging adventure activities and a “learning by doing” approach, participants will accomplish their objectives by fulfilling a task and subsequently reviewing what they have done. Their experience will form a critical learning process.

At the SASC, we believe that learning in the outdoors and being exposed to physical challenges will deliver exceptional results. Participants will be taken out of their comfort zones inevitably and this will spur them on to achieve much more than in a classroom environment.
 
Integral to our methodology is a high dosage of fun. And when the programme ends, we want our clients to feel a great sense of achievement and accomplishment.

Our Trainers

Sumarno, aka Nino, first took on a role as an adventure trainer in year 2000. He has since undertaken countless adventure programs both locally and abroad with companies and schools. Being well equipped with Instructor proficiencies, and is well-versed with various aspects of adventure programs, be it in terms of technicality or program delivery, he is one who ensures all programs carried out are educational yet fun at the same time.

Iswandi leads the team as its Chief Trainer for our programs at SASC. He has amassed several years of training experience, hence giving him the edge over programming designs and understanding the needs of our clients.  Once a team member in the Special Elite Police Force, Iswandi comes with a range of specialized skills to complement the team.

Mohamad Nazib Bin Suki, picked up the sport in 1998, Nazib has been an avid Sport & Rock climber. His passion towards climbing extends beyond himself as he loves to coach those who are new and eager about climbing. He hopes that Sport Climbing will one day be as well recognized as Soccer is in Singapore. Proficient in several rope techniques, Nazib ensures that the safety of the SASC is kept at the highest standards.

Iskandar 
Iskandar has been in the industry for well over four years and is accredited with Adventure Safety International Certification, among many others. His area of expertise lies in the operational matters and running school camps and corporate events are his forte. Armed with a friendly personality, his programs are enjoyable and engaging.

Hazairin 
Hazairin is arguably one of the most experienced adventure trainers in the team. He has facilitated a variety of outdoor programmes since the tender age of 18. Moving up the ranks, he has seen himself taking instructions from his seniors when he first started, to giving instructions to junior adventure trainers. Equipped with a keen sense of navigation, a commanding presence and a jovial personality, he ensures that sessions are well delivered, fun and engaging!

At affordable rates for both adult and student groups, participants will experience unique teambuilding programmes. Prices start from $60 for corporate groups and $40 for student groups.
