Accumulation of SAFRAPOINTS

  1. SAFRAPOINTS will be awarded to the member having possession of a valid SAFRA membership card and presenting it upon payment to the cashier for services or products at the participating vendor outlets or SAFRA Clubs, except for those services or purchases that are restricted and/or where SAFRAPOINTS will not be given. Services and purchases where SAFRAPOINTS will not be given at SAFRA Clubs include spending made at The Winners’ Circle (Slot Machine), purchase of selected vouchers, payment of SAFRA-AIG Insurance Plans, SAFRA-AIA Insurance Plans, car park charges, security deposits, fines, tender deposits and document fees, and fees for lost and damaged cards.
  2. Every S$1 spent entitles the member to one (1) SAFRAPOINT. However additional bonus SAFRAPOINTS may be earned during special offers or promotions, for the duration of the offer or promotion.
  3. SAFRAPOINTS can only be credited into the individual members' account. In the event that the member does not want the SAFRAPOINTS to be credited into his account, the SAFRAPOINTS will be forfeited. SAFRAPOINTS cannot be credited into another member's account.
  4. No monthly statement will be issued.
  5. SAFRA reserves the right to determine, vary or change from time to time the type or quantum of qualifying purchases and the corresponding number of points to be awarded without prior notice.
  6. SAFRAPOINTS have no monetary or cash value.
  7. SAFRAPOINTS will not be issued without a valid SAFRA membership card. In the event that the SAFRA membership card is lost or damaged, it is the members' responsibility to report it and obtain a replacement card. A fee of $10.50 and $3.15 will be imposed on lost and damaged cards respectively.
  8. Transfer or combining of SAFRAPOINTS is not permitted among ordinary members. Transfer or combining of SAFRAPOINTS is only allowed between principal and dependant members. A formal request has to be made by the principal member and the arrangement will persist indefinitely unless otherwise stated. With this transfer, the dependent member would also transfer his or her right of obtaining lucky draw chances with regards to the SAFRAPOINTS programme to the principal member.

Redemption of SAFRAPOINTS

  1. Redemption of items is subject to the member having sufficient SAFRAPOINTS and availability of the items. SAFRA reserves the right to remove or change the redemption items, change or substitute the redemption conditions at any time without any prior notice.
  2. SAFRA reserves the right to change the SAFRAPOINTS required for redemption of various items without giving any prior notice.
  3. For redemption items that may be executed with SAFRAPOINTS and cash payment, the member shall make the necessary cash or credit card payment at SAFRA clubs and via MySAFRA.
  4. A member may redeem products and vouchers via MySAFRA, SAFRALink or at the Customer Service Counters of any SAFRA Club.
  5. A member may redeem instant discounts off SAFRA operated facilities, activities, courses and membership fees via SAFRA Online or at the Customer Service Counters of any SAFRA Club.
  6. Redemption of instant discounts at participating outlets is to be administered at the latter's premises only.
  7. A member shall present his/her SAFRA membership card for redemption of instant discounts from our participating vendor outlets and SAFRA operated facilities.
  8. Redeemed items cannot be returned or exchanged for other items and are not refundable for cash or credit.
  9. The estimated time period for processing redemption items via MySAFRA Online SAFRA Link is two weeks. Vouchers or collection letters for successful redemptions will be mailed to the member's address. Vouchers and collection letters carry a validity period and members must collect their redemption items within the period/date specified on the said vouchers and collection letters. The date of expiry stated on vouchers and collection letters are non-extendable.
    Defaced/damaged vouchers are invalid and SAFRA reserves the right not to entertain any claims for defaced/damaged and lost vouchers.
  10. Members must present their SAFRA membership card together with their collection letters for redemption of items at SAFRA Clubs or participating supplier's outlets.
  11. Redemption(s) can only be made within the redemption hours indicated on the collection letter. Members are also advised to call up SAFRA Clubs or participating supplier's outlets to check on availability before proceeding for collection. If supplier is unable to provide the product as stated, an alternative product of similar value and price may be supplied. Other conditions apply.
  12. Redemption of vouchers is subject to the participating supplier's terms and conditions, if any, e.g. participating outlets, validity period and usage.
  13. Members are advised to examine all items upon collection and to reject any damaged or defective goods/items at SAFRA clubs or participating suppliers’ outlet at which redemption is made.
  14. In the event that there are any damaged or defective items, the member shall contact and liaise directly with the supplier/manufacturer of the redemption item. For redemption items that carry the guarantee/warranty of the supplier/ manufacturer, the member shall be bound by such supplier's/manufacturer's guarantee/warranty. 
  15. Pertaining to the use of the SAFRA Rewards Voucher, the member shall abide by all the Terms and Conditions set by the participating partners. SAFRA's decision relating to the SAFRAPOINTS rewards programme is final and binding to all members.

Validity of SAFRAPOINTS or Gift Certificates

  1. SAFRAPOINTS earned between 1 Jan to 30 Nov will expire on 31 Dec of the same calendar year. Points earned in the month of Dec will expire on 31 Dec of the following year. All unredeemed SAFRAPOINTS at the end of each calendar year, will automatically be converted to lucky draw chances. Every 50 SAFRAPOINTS gives you one lucky draw chance (conditions apply)
  2. Vouchers must be utilised within the period/date specified on the said vouchers. All unused vouchers shall be deemed null and void after the expiry date and no SAFRAPOINTS will be refunded to the member.
  3. Once issued, the voucher cannot be cancelled.  

Termination and Suspension

  1. SAFRA may at any time suspend and/or terminate SAFRAPOINTS - your rewards programme. The member shall not be entitled to any compensation for any such suspension and/or termination. Unutilised SAFRAPOINTS shall be invalidated on termination of the Programme.
  2. If the SAFRA membership is terminated for any reason whatsoever, all unutilised SAFRAPOINTS relating to that membership shall be forfeited/invalidated.

Exclusions

  1. SAFRA shall not be responsible for the quality or fitness for purpose or any other matter relating to any benefits or privileges(including goods or services) except for SAFRA operated facilities provided to the member upon its redemption.
  2. SAFRA shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the member by reason of:
    1. any loss or theft of or damage to any voucher or collection letter sent to the member by post;
    2. any failure or omission to notify the member of any changes in the SAFRAPOINTS programme and/or the details relating to the accumulation and/or redemption of safrapoints;
    3. any event or occurrence beyond reasonable control of SAFRA; or
    4. any loss or damage suffered by the member arising out of or in connection with the use of the SAFRA membership card that is not caused by the wilful misconduct or negligence on the part of SAFRA or its employees.
