SAFRA50 COMMEMORATIVE EVENTS

Look forward to an array of activities for family bonding, fitness, entertainment and fun throughout the year. There would be something for everyone – such as fun time with loved ones at SAFRA Family Day Out, to foodies with Be@SAFRA Food Fiesta, football fanatics with SAFRA Football Fiesta and many more.

Each SAFRA club will be spearheading a SAFRA Cares charitable event to extend a helping hand to those in need within the community. Funds raised by the six SAFRA Cares charitable events will mainly go towards helping beneficiaries under the President’s Challenge, while some of the events may also adopt additional beneficiaries. Do your part now!

SAFRA Punggol Weekend Fun
2 to 5 Jun

Organised by SAFRA Punggol in conjunction with Army Open House @ Heartlands (Punggol), NSmen and their families can enjoy a series of NS-inspired and wellness activities at the club.

NS-inspired activities:

Mini obstacle course
Virtual reality games e.g. marksmanship
Showcase of past military uniforms and collectibles with photo-taking opportunities
NS-themed cupcake decoration activity and giveaways

Wellness activities:

Yoga and meditation session
Health and wellness talks
Arts@SAFRA activities

Jun & Oct	SAFRA E-Sports Fiesta With A Heart Organised in conjunction with Asia Esports Festival slated for June 2022 at Kallang Wave Mall, SAFRA aims to raise funds through the Call of Duty Mobile Tournament. Subsequently in October 2022, SAFRA members and SAFRA Tech Club members will have the opportunity to participate in gaming tournaments, talks and an IT Fair with exclusive discounts for SAFRA members as part of the SAFRA E-Sports Fiesta With A Heart.
Aug	SAFRA Charity Bowl A series of bowling tournaments will be held across five SAFRA clubs at Mount Faber, Tampines, Toa Payoh, Punggol and Yishun to raise funds for charity.
Sep	SAFRA Diaper Dash Into its 7th edition, Singapore’s largest baby crawling competition will be held across all six SAFRA clubs and raise funds for charity for the very first time. The event will also feature parenting talks and workshops.
Sep to Oct	SAFRA Swim for Hope Into its 12th edition, NSmen and their families can swim distances ranging from 1km, 10km, 20km or 55km for charity as part of the Individual or Team (corporate and schools) categories. There will also be a Families for Life Parent-and-Child category for families to participate together.
Nov to Dec	Let’s Gift For A Reason Into its 7th edition, NSmen and their families can fulfil the wishes of less privileged children by donating gifts, or make a donation to fund care packs containing basic necessities for low income families.

2 to 5 Jun	SAFRA Weekend Fun (June Edition) Discover a series of NS-inspired and wellness activities, and stand a chance to win NS-themed prizes.
Jun	SAFRA Lil’ Stars Into its 10th edition, the annual talent-time competition uncovers the best singers and dancers aged 12 years old and below. Join as a solo contestant, form a group or team up as a family.
Jul / Aug	SAFRA Sprint Kidz Into its 11th edition, the NS-inspired obstacle race will include a new virtual reality component for a 4D sensory experience.
Oct	SAFRA Beer Festival x Mini Golf Experience A unique combination of the mini-golf experience together with food, drinks and music. SAFRA members can also enjoy various drink promotions, food and virtual music performances in the comfort of their own homes.
Nov	Be@SAFRA Food Fiesta Enjoy a variety of food featuring various F&B styles and concepts at each SAFRA club, including food truck street food, healthy food and drinks, food entrees, home-cooked food, ultimate hawker experience and international cuisines. Complete the experience with fun-filled activities and live entertainment.
Nov	SAFRA Football Fiesta Football enthusiasts can gather and indulge in the World Cup fever with a slew of activities including screening of matches, games and more.
Nov	SAFRA Strider Challenge Kids can hop onto a balance bike, run bike or no pedal bike to have a fun race even as they learn how to balance and steer.
Nov	SAFRA Awards & Anniversary Dinner The 16th SAFRA Awards will recognise volunteers and corporate partners for their contributions. The event will also feature an anniversary dinner as a finale to commemorate SAFRA50.
Dec	SAFRA Family Day Out Countdown to the new year with a mass outdoor picnic complete with carnival games for your family.

Past Events

Apr to May	SAFRA Wheels & Feet Charity Challenge SAFRA Wheels & Feet Charity Challenge Newly introduced virtual challenge where participants can cycle, blade, run or walk for charity over a 50-day period. They can clock their registered distance both outdoors and indoors at the gym on relevant exercise equipment such as the stationary bike, treadmill, stepper or elliptical.
27 to 28 May	SAFRA Family Day Out – Our NS Family Camp Held in conjunction with the Army Open House (AOH), the overnight camp for NSmen and SAFRA members together with their families includes a special guided tour of the AOH and viewing of the night show at F1 Pit Building. Other NS-related activities include tent pitching, fitness training and a route march ending at The Float to simulate the Passing Out Parade (POP).
24 May	Skills Upgrading Fair In partnership with e2i, there will be an array of job and learning opportunities. Job seekers can get to meet their potential employers, get career coaching and access relevant resources such as preparing for an interview or preparing a resume.
