Liberty SAFRA Swim for Hope is back for another virtual swim marathon this year! Organised by SAFRA since 2011, Swim for Hope has been one of SAFRA's flagship events and one of our most iconic annual charity events, where National Servicemen, families and friends can bond through sport and do their part for charity.

In 2020, we partnered with Liberty Insurance to bring you Singapore's first-ever virtual swim marathon. With more than 4,300 participants, we managed to raise over S$166,000, showing the nation that despite the global pandemic, people were still willing to come together as a community, to help others in need.

For 2021, we're bringing back the same virtual format, and will also feature a new 20km category for participants to take on. Come join us to make a splash for a good cause, and to make waves for better lives!

The Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) One Team Singapore Fund will be used to enhance SSA High Performance Sport System to enable Singapore to be a world class aquatics nation with "Every Singaporean a Swimmer". In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the livelihood of coaches and the development of the swimmers in our pathway. Through the fundraising efforts, SSA hopes to upskill the local swimming coaches with free coaching workshops and assist them to secure available pool spaces, as well as to assist in the training needs of developmental athletes whose parents are struggling financially during this period.
