SAFRA Members' Exclusive 

Join us at SAFRA Punggol for a series of baking and cooking classes with Traditional Bakes for parent-and-child bonding session! 

Classes will be conducted in our Culinary Experience Studio, Level 1, SAFRA Punggol

What you can expect:

  • Hands-on experience
  • Learners will receive recipe and bring home your own masterpiece

Details:

  • Each registration of the activity admits 1 parent and 1 child only. Recommended age for the child is 5 years old and above. Parental supervision is required.
  • Registration closing date: 3 working days prior to scheduled date
  • Require a minimum of 3 pairs of parent-child participants for workshop to commence 
  • Fees for scheduled classes must be paid fully in advance to secure your booking. Your booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received and it is on a first-come-first serve payment basis.
  • Once your booking is confirmed, no refunds or transfers to another class will be given

Instructor Details

Nicole 200x200 

Chef Nicole Tan 

Nicole has a strong passion for baking and cooking since young. She went on to take up a Diploma in Baking Art & Science and subsequently a Boulangerie Course at the Le Cordon Bleu, KL, where she can better interpret and analyse recipes to modify them to healthier options and using natural ingredients in her creations. She believes in upkeeping classic recipes and presenting them with a modern twist to suit the current trends. Follow her on Instagram @traditionalbakes_nicoletan!

Chef Low Tian Heng

Chef Low Tian Heng, an “old hand” in teaching at various Baking Schools namely, BITC (formerly owned by Prima Flour Mills) since 1995, Cerealtech School of Baking Technology and Asia.  His industry experiences include overseeing the R&D and Production for Puratos Belgium and Malaysia, National Food Starch Singapore, Mauri Yeast Australia and Great China, Sophie’s Bakery Beijing, Holland Bakery Jakarta, John Forrest Bakery London. Chef Low has also been a consultant for leading bread companies in Singapore, Japan and Asia.  

He is well respected and known for his extensive knowledge and experience in the technology, science of ingredients and processes, learners will find his classes very interactive, engaging and they will walk away with new found knowledge from the classes.

We are delighted to have Chef Low on board as one of our Resident Chef Trainers at SAFRA Punggol.  

Chef Carol Goh 

Chef Carol Goh, specializes in Pastries and Cakes, her experience in teaching started in 2016 at BITC (formerly owned by Prima Flour Mills).  She is also well versed in Asian Pastry and Dim Sum making.   

A mother of two, Chef Carol will be leading in the Children’s classes and discover the Junior MasterChefs in your little ones.

We are delighted to have Chef Carol on board as one of our Resident Chef Trainers at SAFRA Punggol.
