[ARTS@SAFRA] RESILIENT THROUGH CHANGE BY DIDIER NG
In commemoration of 55 years of National Service, SAFRA Toa Payoh would like to create an installation featuring miniature military vehicles and figurines made of recycled materials with you, our community. Let's come together to thank our past and present National Servicemen for their contributions to our national security.
Join eco-artist Didier Ng in this workshop on 7 August and create your own figurines that will be part of the installation. Didier believes in reducing our carbon footprint by reusing materials and turns the unglamorous or unwanted into art pieces. Working closely with the community, she has created many artworks both locally and overseas.

INSTALLATION & WORKSHOP BY BUILT FROM SKRATCH
Want to try your hand at doodle art? Come join us in this workshop, where you will be introduced to the fundamentals of lettering, colouring, outlining, 3D progression and spray-painting techniques and find out what your style is. Then, join us and add your creative flair to SAFRA Toa Payoh’s collaborative mural as a “Gift to our Nation”!

[ARTS@SAFRA] THE TWO WARRIORS OF PULAU HANTU PERFORMANCE BY THE SINGAPORE LYRIC OPERA LIMITED
Pulau Hantu means “Ghost Island” in the Malay language. However, the legend of this island has no relation to ghosts, but about 2 warriors instead. Find out more about this legend and why Pulau Hantu actually consists of two islands, Pulau Hantu Besar (Big Ghost Island) and Pulau Hantu Kecil (Small Ghost Island).

[ARTS@SAFRA] THE TALE OF 3 FRIENDS - A PULAU UBIN STORY PERFORMANCE BY THE SINGAPORE LYRIC OPERA LIMITED
Do you know that Pulau Ubin has three granite quarries and the myth is that their shape formations mimic 3 animal friends, a frog, pig and elephant? Come by and learn about the story of these 3 animal friends and a little competition they had amongst themselves.
