General Rules

All teams are to adhere to the Rules of Conduct as published on the official PUBG website. (https://www.pubg.com/rules-of-conduct/), or risk disqualification. These rules include, at time of writing:

1. Do not use any discriminatory language, including but not limited to any language regarding ethnicity, nationality, race, gender, religion, sexual preference or personal beliefs.
2. Do not use foul language, including but not limited to excessive profanity or language that is graphically sexual, grotesque, or violent.
3. Do not make threats of real-world violence or other intended harm to other teams or our employees.
4. Do not harass, stalk, or purposely do things to make someone else feel uncomfortable or threatened.
5. Do not share personal information about yourself or other individuals.
6. Do not engage in, request, arrange, or offer illegal activities or materials.
7. Do not impersonate other individuals.
8. Do not spam, be it in text or voip.
9. Do not cheat: do not use third party programs, macros, client-side hacks, edited game files or anything else that may give you an unfair advantage in the game. This includes promoting or posting links to websites that provide or promote cheats or hacks.
10. Do not horde: hording is defined as two or more teams in the same match working together in a larger group than is intended for the selected game mode.
11. Do not team kill: there is no excuse for non-accidental team kills. If your teammate is breaking these rules, report them to us instead.
12 Do not stream snipe: this is a form of cheating and you will be banned if you do it.
13. Do not exploit bugs or glitches: If you find a bug or a glitch in the game that provides an unfair advantage, let us know about it instead of using the exploit for your own benefit.
14. Do not share your account: your account is for your use and your use alone. Do not grant access to your account to anyone else, and do not access anyone else’s account, even with their permission.
15. Teams who encounter a glitch (e.g. buildings not loading in and hence able to walk/drive through buildings i.e. noclip) must leave and rejoin the current game session immediately as an attempt to rectify the problem:
a. Do not share your account: your account is for your use and your use alone. Do not grant access to your account to anyone else, and do not access anyone else’s account, even with their permission.
i Loot, use any weapon/punch, get into vehicles, revive teammates etc.
ii Communicate information of any enemies/vehicle spawns/loot spawns, etc. and their locations.
iii Continue playing the round until the issue is resolved by any means, even if it requires multiple rejoins.
b The affected player may keep attempting to rejoin the game session until his in-game character is eliminated, or if the round ends.
16. Teams are strongly advised to screenshot all end-of-round screens and scoreboards.
17. Tournament and/or personal passwords are not to be shared with non-participants; if found, participants are subject to immediate disqualification.
18. SAFRA will not be held responsible for the inability of participants to join in or play the game due to congestion / failure in mobile 3G / 4G network or personal equipment. SAFRA will not be responsible for providing equipments like iPads, mobile phones etc for use during the competition.

20. Match fixing to intentionally propel another participant to a higher position is not allowed.
21. Any involved parties found guilty of breaking any rule will be removed from the tournament and may be barred from future events/tournaments.
22. These rules are non-exhaustive. The organisers reserve the right to add, remove or amend these rules at any point of time, or act on its sole discretion for the best interests of the community and event.

Registration Terms and Conditions

Teams are reminded that the Registration Terms and Conditions as accepted during registration are also in effect. For reference, these are:

1. This Tournament is open to Singaporeans and Singapore PRs aged 17 – 35 years old. Minimum age for participation is 17 years as of 28 March 2020
2. Agree that we may contact you via mail, electronic mail, telephone (call, Whatsapp message or SMS-Text) or social medial platforms, to inform you for event administrative purpose (i.e. event follow ups, event administrative brief, event updates and information) and agree to be bound by SAFRA’s Privacy Policy (a copy which may be found at Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time, which outlines how SAFRA manages your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, and will be deemed to have consented to SAFRA’s collection, use or disclosure of your personal data such as photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records during SAFRA Mobile Gaming challenge (The Event) for purposes of, including but not limited to publicity purposes by SAFRA and the Event sponsors and partners.
3. Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Confirmation SMS or emails from mailer@safra.sg or sync@safra.sg will be sent out to successful registrants after registration is closed. Individuals/teams may be placed on a waiting list, and will be notified as such. Rejected applicants may or may not be contacted.
4. Registrations that are incomplete or furnished with inaccurate details will not be accepted. Reasons for rejected applications may or may not be communicated.
5. In the event of a no-show, the organisers reserve the right to replace you/your team’s slot with another available individual/team.
6. Please contact us via sync@safra.sg should you require any change in submitted registration information, including change of team member. Any such change request should be made before 18 Mar 2020, 12pm. Beyond that, substitutions will not be allowed. Teams found to be smurfing will be disqualified. No appeals will be entertained.
7. Participants should be residing in Singapore for registration of 2 pax in a team.
8. Participants must be able to understand and converse in English, which is the language the tournament is hosted in.
9. Event dates and/or timings may be shifted due to unforeseen circumstances.
10. All participants are required to provide a valid in game username that is linked to their PUBG account. PUBG usernames linked to a different user will not be accepted.
11. These terms are non-exhaustive. The organisers reserve the right to add, remove or amend these terms at any point of time, or act on its sole discretion for the best interests of the community and event.
12. Please adhere to all event reporting times and check-in on time. Latecomers will not be entertained. If one member of the team is unable to be present during the time of competition, the team is subject to disqualification or may have their slot given up to others on the waiting list.

1. The combined Overall Points (Placement Points + Kill Points) for both rounds will be tallied and teams will be ranked accordingly
2. Tie-breaker (if there are 2 or more teams tied on the same Overall Points):

a. Total accumulated kills across all qualifiers or finals
b. Total accumulated placement points across all qualifier or finals
c. Total times winning the first in-game placement across all qualifier or finals
3. Prizes:

a. An official email will be sent to all winners. All winners will need to reply with their acknowledgement within 3 working days, then the UC prizes will be distributed to all winners within 1 month.

b. Failure to reply with the acknowledgement may result in being barred to participant in any future SAFRA Youth Network or Gam3.Asia events.
4. In-Game Rules:

4.1 Pause. No Pause will be permitted during tournament play for any reason

4.2. Remaking or Replaying Tournament Games. Tournament Officials should be notified of any technical malfunction or other emergency immediately. Tournament Games shall be remade only pursuant to the request of the Tournament Organizer. The Tournament Organizer may remake a Tournament Game under the following circumstances occur within the first 5 minutes of the game:

a.Technical malfunctions or player disconnects (excluding malfunctions and disconnects as a result of a player’s mistake or fault) within 120 seconds after a player lands on the battlefield;

b. A problem occurs during the loading screen and the game cannot be loaded;

c. A player is unable to move on the battlefield within 120 seconds after such player lands on the battlefield;

d. One or more players does not enter the Tournament Game before the departure of the starting plane; and

e. Some players are able to join a Tournament Game but start on the battlefield, without flying on the plane and without parachuting

f. Situation where the lobby settings are not following the tournament settings.

g. Situation where the Tournament Organizer decides that there is an unfair gaming environment.

4.3 Rules of No Restart and Score Scheme. In the case of any circumstances that cause a player or more are not able to continue playing in the game occurs past the 5-minute mark, there will be no game remakes. There will be no compensation points granted to the affected players.

5. Official Communication Channel / Breaks:

5.2. Teamleaders. Leaders are required to report in chat once they join our discord channel. Roles will need to be given to Leaders in order to communicate in SAFRA Mobile Gaming Tournament 2nd Edition 2020 Channel.

a.Technical malfunctions or player disconnects (excluding malfunctions and disconnects as a result of a player’s mistake or fault) within 120 seconds after a player lands on the battlefield; :

5.3. Queries. For pre-event enquiries,sync@safra.sg. Discord Channel will only be used for Tournament day game updates.

5.4.Break Time. In cases where breaks between games are necessary or deemed to be desirable by the Tournament Organizer, Tournament Organizers will inform Team Leaders of such break time and the next Tournament Game will start promptly at the conclusion of such break time.
