Equip yourself with life-saving techniques through the on-site CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) demonstration!

Blood Donation Drive (Supported by Singapore Red Cross)
Blood is needed to save lives in times of emergencies and to sustain the lives of those with medical conditions, like leukemia, thalassemia and bleeding disorders, as well as patients who are undergoing major surgeries. With an ageing population, more advanced life-saving medical procedures, and new hospitals being established, more blood will be needed every year.
In line with Civil Defence Pillar, we will be having a Blood Donation Drive on Sat, 17 Feb 2024. No pre-registration is required.

There are some basic requirements you need to fulfil in order to become a blood donor. You may become a donor if you:
- are aged between 16 and 60 (Youths aged 16 and 17 will need to complete and bring a signed parental consent form)
- weigh at least 45kg
- are in good health
- do not have any symptoms of infection (e.g. sore throat, cough, runny nose, diarrhoea) for at least one week
- did not have fever in the last four weeks
- have a haemoglobin level of at least 12.5g/dL for females, and at least 13.0g/dL for males. (A test will be administered by trained nurses at the donation site.)
For your safety and well-being, we advise you to wait at least 4 weeks (28 days) before your next donation attempt if your haemoglobin is below the donation threshold. This allows your body time to replenish the iron stores and to build up your haemoglobin level.

Plus, join SAFRA Tampines for the Harmony in Diversity Gallery (HDG) tour! This tour aims to promote an appreciation of Singapore's rich religious diversity and how we can learn to embrace this diversity, appreciate our commonalities and celebrate our unique identity.
