Event Highlights

• First ever monopoly championship in Singapore!
• Open to all ages 8 and above, anyone can join the race to become Singapore's Monopoly Champion.
• Qualifying rounds will be held at SAFRA Choa Chu Kang, SAFRA Punggol, HomeTeamNS Bedok, Hometeam NS Khatib and Singapore Comic Con.
• Organized by Hasbro, the championship brings together elite players from around the world to compete for the coveted title of Monopoly World Champion.

Game Concept Overview

• No of participants: Expect 2,400 players
• Tournament Format: Elimination system
• Players per board: 4 players at each game table
• Game duration: 60mins per round
• Elimination Criteria: Bankrupt players are eliminated
• Victory Determination: Player with most assets win
• This structured format ensures fair competition while maintaining the excitement and strategic elements that make Monopoly a beloved classic. The 60-minute time limit adds pressure and requires players to make quick, tactical decisions throughout each match.

Elimination Structure

Scoring

Each table is assigned to 1 score sheet. All players have to write their names and calculate their final scores in this sheet. 

• If you go bankrupt, you will have zero property and cash totals, you must still fill in the amount you finished with, and sign your scoresheet.
• Each remaining player in the game must fill in the value of each category they own. Add up the total value of all your properties at the bottom of the grid in the following order:
  1. Cash on hand
  2. Unmortgaged properties (based on purchase price)
  3. Number of hotels owned
  4. Number of houses owned
  5. Number of utilities owned
  6. Mortgaged properties (based on purchase price)
  7. "Get Out of Jail Free" cards (valued at $50M each)
  8. Grand Total: Cash + Property
• Add the two totals together for your grand total. In the case of a tie, the player with the highest value in unmortgaged property takes the lead.
• Sign off the score sheet.

• All participants can only sign up for the Championship once. Participants have to choose the qualifying round event date as per the Organizer provided and pay as described instructions.

Admission Rules:

• Participants must be aged 8 years old and above
• Participation will not be allowed for infant in arms and children aged below 8 years old
