SAFRA Swim For Hope 2025

Join SAFRA in raising funds for our beneficiaries through SAFRA Swim For Hope: SG60 edition!

Introduced in 2011, SAFRA Swim For Hope is an annual charity swim event which provides an opportunity for Operationally Ready National Serviceman and their families to contribute to charitable causes, while promoting fitness and bonding through swimming.

This year, event proceeds will go towards various beneficiary organizations to support families and seniors in need of assistance. 

This SG60, let's come together as a nation to uplift the lives of those around us. Every stroke will symbolize resilience, inclusion and a commitment to ensure no one is left behind on the journey towards a brighter future.

Modes of Participation 

Choose from 3 swim modes:

  1. Full Virtual – Swim at your own preferred location and time and submit your swim records via the event portal
  2. Full Physical – Swim will be completed at selected SAFRA Club
  3. Hybrid – Virtual with completion of 1KM physical swim at selected SAFRA Club

AWWA

AWWA’s journey to empower the disadvantaged began in 1970. In addition to helping families in need, AWWA also delivers much-needed services to help the aged and persons with disabilities. Their mission is to empower the marginalised and socially disadvantaged and enable them to lead dignified and independent lives.

Blossom Seeds

Blossom Seeds serves as the go-to point for all seniors, regardless of frailty, housing type and income levels, in the community and provide an “ABC” suite of services: Active ageing, Befriending and buddying, and information and referral to Care services.

Community Chest

As the hallmark of care and share, Community Chest believe in uniting the community to care for those in need.

Since 1983, Community Chest has been in partnership with the people, public and private sectors to create a collaborative and impactful social service ecosystem. To date, there are 200 over critical programmes offered to those in need, including special education, youth programmes, adult disability support, family service centres, eldercare and caregiver support.

President's Challenge

The President’s Challenge is a national movement led by the President to rally Singaporeans to build a caring and cohesive society together.

An annual community outreach, President’s Challenge aims to bring together people from all walks of life, under the President’s patronage, to help those who are less fortunate. 100% of donations raised under President’s Challenge go to beneficiary organizations supported by President’s Challenge.

SAF Care FundThe SAF Care Fund provides additional support to SAF servicemen who are severely disabled due to military service and require long-term care and support.
Singapore Aquatics

Through the Singapore Aquatics (SAQ) Development Fund, SAQ will continue the Empowering Lives through Aquatics program - an initiative which aims to provide an opportunity for vulnerable children and youth in Singapore to learn to swim.

Through fundraising campaigns and partnering with swim lesson providers and water safety advocates across the country, SAQ helps to support swimming lessons and educate children and their families on the importance of having a life skill like learning how to swim.

Singapore Cancer Society

Minimising Cancer and Maximising Lives since 1964, Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) is a self-funded social service agency which provides an integrated continuum of care from cancer control and prevention to patient support services, survivorship, and palliative care. SCS’s key programmes and services include cancer screening programmes, public education, financial and welfare services, psychosocial support, survivorship care, rehabilitation programmes and hospice care. Consistently recognised for its commitment to high standards in governance and transparency, SCS has attained both the coveted Charity Governance Award (2023) and the Charity Transparency Award for four years, between 2019 to 2024.
