Appreciating NSmen Video Competition

We Thank NSmen - Appreciation Video Competition 2019

Appreciating NSmen Video Competition

Dear Students,

Thank you for your support. The competition has ended on 7 Jun 2019. Award-winning videos will be unveiled in due course.

Thank you.

National servicemen play a vital role in Singapore’s defence and security. They serve to defend our loved ones, homes and way of life.

This year, in support of the Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence (ACCORD) established by MINDEF, SAFRA is organising an appreciation video competition among tertiary institutions and its students as part of its ‘We Thank NSmen’ initiatives.

Students will be challenged to express their creativity in conveying heartfelt thanks to national servicemen nationwide by conceptualising and producing short videos of up to 90 seconds. From aspiring content creators capturing inspiring moments with their smartphones to budding film makers, all are invited to participate in this meaningful competition.

The top 3 winning videos and the Audience Choice Award video will be used as part of a public campaign to encourage Singaporeans to join in the effort to show their appreciation to national servicemen by sharing and liking the videos online in the lead-up to National Day. They will also be screened at all SAFRA clubs and other community spaces.
