The SAFRA Education Scheme was formed in 1994, with the aim to provide opportunities for SAFRA members to upgrade themselves educationally. Over the years. we have partnered with various reowned institutions to offer Diploma, Degree and Master courses to our members. Click here to find out more.

How to Apply?

Looking to further your education? Apply for the various bond-free Diploma, Degree and Master courses offered by renowned institutions.

 

Sponsorship Application Period:

  • 1 February to 31 March 2024* 
  • 1 August to 30 September 2024

*Sponsorship Applications for SUSS Jul 2024 intake close on 15 March 2024.

The role of SAFRA officers agreed with our institutional partners is to administer sponsorship applications. We will need to refer sponsorship applicants to the partner institutions for academic information and academic advisory. This is to ensure that applicants are provided the appropriate advice by the institutions' professional programme counsellors. 

  1. All applicants must complete a compulsory SAFRA application form here.
  2. Download the application form from the respective institution of your choice here and attach the necessary supporting documents for submission.
  3. Completed application forms with supporting documents must be emailed to mbactivity@safra.sg before the stipulated closing deadline.
  4. All applicants must attend a compulsory interview conducted by SAFRA’s Education Committee scheduled in March / April 2024. Applicants will be contacted via email/phone for interview time scheduled.

Who is eligible?

Applicants must have completed full-time National Service and be a valid SAFRA Ordinary A, Ordinary B or Life member. Full-time National Servicemen (NSFs) under Ordinary A seeking to apply for study in any of the stated educational institutions will also be considered if they are in their last year of service and/or whose Operationally-ready Date (ORD) fall at least three (3) months before the start date of the applied course.
