Race Format - Individual / Double / Trio

  • Participating teams must compete in groups depending on which category they have registered in and must cross the finishing line together.
  • The race will consist of 8 different disciplines. Some disciplines requires team completion while the rest will only require 1 team member to do at a time.
  • While one of the team members is attempting the discipline, the remaining  members will have to wait for he/she to finish before moving to the next discipline.
  • Any form of poor sportsmanship towards any Race Marshals, Event Staff or spectators can lead to disqualification

Disciplines Rules and Regulations:

  • All participants are expected to complete all disciplines and repetitions/distances in the correct order.
  • There will only be one entrance and exit to each of the disciplines.
  • Only use one equipment / lane assigned by the Race Crew of that respective Station.

Station 3: Leopard Crawl
Criteria: 20m Distance
Participants must independently complete the full criteria.All team members complete the obstacle together.
Every member must complete the 20m crawl.
Station 4: Tyre Flip
Criteria: 50kg Tyre x 10m DIstance
Participants must independently complete the full criteria.One team member at a time; teammates remain behind the station.
Team members may rotate as needed until full criteria is completed.

Station 5: Box Jump
Criteria: 50cm Height x 20 Times

Participants must independently complete the full criteria.One team member at a time; teammates remain behind the station.
Team members may rotate as needed until full criteria is completed.

Station 6: Laser Shooting
Criteria: 10m Distance x 15 Hits

Participants must independently complete the full criteria.
One team member at a time; teammates remain behind the station.
Team members may rotate as needed until full criteria is completed.
Station 7: Rower Machines
Criteria: 1000m
Participants must independently complete the full criteria.
One team member at a time; teammates remain behind the station.
Team members may rotate as needed until full criteria is completed.
Station 8: Run
Criteria: 2.4km Distance
Participants must independently complete the full criteria.
All team members complete the obstacle together.
Every member must complete the 2.4km run.

APEX CLIMB

  • Each Apex Climb structure measures 4.5 m (L) × 3.3 m (W) × 2.2 m (H). 
  • Participants are required to ascend and descend both ladders to complete the full criteria
  • Walking, jumping or hopping while on the ladders is strictly prohibited. 
  • For the Double and Trio Category, all team members must complete the obstacle together in a single-file line. 
  • Participants are expected to share the obstacle with others. Hogging or obstructing lanes is not permitted. 
  • If Race Marshals direct participants on the order of the course, all participants must comply with their instructions. 
LOW WALL
  • Each Low Wall measures 4.22 m (L) × 1.5 m (W) × 1.5 m (H). 
  • A crash mat will be positioned at the landing area of each wall.
  • Participants must climb over all three walls before proceeding to the next obstacle.
  • For the Double and Trio Category, every team member must climb over all three walls.
  • Participants may rest between walls, however they are required to remain at the side of the obstacle and not obstruct other participants. 
  • If Race Marshals direct participants on the order of the course, all participants must comply with their instructions. 
LEOPARD CRAWL
  • Participants are required to complete the 20m Leopard Crawl. 
  • The obstacle height is designed to prevent participants from kneeling during the crawl. Participants must remain in the leopard crawl position throughout the obstacle. 
  • For the Double and Trio Category, every member must complete the 20m crawl.
  • If Race Marshals direct participants on the order of the course, all participants must comply with their instructions. 
TYRE FLIP
  • The tyre weighs 50kg for Individual, Double and Trio categories. 
  • The course consists of a 5m lane. Participants must flip the tyre from Point A to Point B, then back to Point A, for a total distance of 10m. 
  • The tyre must completely cross the designated line before participants may proceed to the next obstacle. 
  • For the Double and Trio Category, only one team member may attempt the obstacle at any time. The remaining team members must remain behind the member attempting the tyre flip until it is their turn. No assistance is permitted while the current member is attempting the tyre flip. Team members may rotate their turns at any point during the attempt until the full criteria is completed.
  • If Race Marshals direct participants on the order of the course, all participants must comply with their instructions. 
BOX JUMP
  • Each box is 50cm high for Individual, Double and Trio categories. 
  • One repetition is counted only when both feet land on top of the box before descending. 
  • Participants may descend one foot at a time. 
  • For the Double and Trio Category, only one team member may attempt the obstacle at any time. The remaining team members must remain behind the participant attempting the obstacle until it is their turn. No assistance is permitted while the current member is attempting the box jump. Team members may rotate their turns at any point during the attempt until the full criteria is completed.
  • Each lane will be assigned a dedicated Race Marshal. Only repetitions counted by the Race Marshal will be considered valid. Repetitions will be counted aloud to keep participants informed of their progress. 
  • If a repetition does not meet the required standard, it will not be counted. No warning will be issued. 
LASER SHOOTING
  • Participants must achieve 15 successful target hits from a distance of 10m. 
  • Upon completing 15 target hits, participants must place the pistol down and raise one arm to signal a Race Marshal for verification. Participants may only proceed after receiving confirmation from the Race Marshal. 
  • No calibration of the laser pistol is required. 
  • After each shot, participants may refer to the LED display to confirm whether the shot was successful. The display will also show the cumulative number of successful hits. 
  • For the Double and Trio Category, only one team member may attempt the shooting at any time. The remaining team members must remain behind the participant attempting the shots until it is their turn. No assistance is permitted while the obstacle is being attempted. Team members may rotate their turns at any point during the attempt until the full criteria is completed.
  • Participants must never point the laser pistol at spectators, other participants, or Race Marshals. Failure to comply may result in immediate disqualification at the discretion of the Race Marshal. 
ROWER MACHINE 
  • The participant must be securely strapped into the rower before taking hold of the handle and commencing the obstacle. Once ready, the Race Marshal will reset the monitor and signal the participant to begin. 
  • The rower resistance setting is fixed at Level 7 for all participants. 
  • Participants must complete 1,000 m before proceeding. 
  • For the Double and Trio Category, only one team member may attempt the obstacle at any time. The remaining team members must remain behind the participant attempting the obstacle until it is their turn. No assistance is permitted while the obstacle is being attempted. Team members may rotate their turns at any point during the attempt until the full criteria is completed.
  • Upon reaching the required distance, participants may only dismount after receiving confirmation from the Race Marshal. 
RUN
  • Participants are to run along the designated run area.
  • There will be no designated fast or slow lanes. As a general guideline, faster runners should keep to the right, while slower runners should keep to the left. 
  • Each lap is approximately 400 m, and participants must complete six laps (approximately 2.4 km). 
  • On the final lap, participants must enter the designated finishing lane and cross the finish arch to complete the race. 
  • For the Double and Trio Category, all team members must complete the run together. Every member must run the full 2.4km distance and all team members must cross the finish point together.
