UAFA@SAFRA (Unmanned Aircraft Flying Area @ SAFRA) is a designated recreational unmanned aircraft flying area introduced by SAFRA in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). It provides unmanned aircraft enthusiasts with a safe and dedicated space to enjoy recreational flying.
UAFA@SAFRA is available at the following SAFRA clubs:
The flying areas are located within selected futsal and squash courts.
Bookings can be made via the SAFRA Mobile App or m.safra.sg. Advance booking is recommended as slots are subject to availability.

4. Is there a booking fee?
No. Bookings are complimentary during the six-month trial period.
UAFA@SAFRA is open to members of the public who wish to fly unmanned aircrafts for recreational purposes.
Yes. All users must follow the UAFA@SAFRA conditions of use at the respective clubs displayed on-site and online. Fly responsibly, be considerate of other users and ensure safety at all times.
Yes. Both beginners and experienced unmanned aircraft enthusiasts are welcome. The flying areas provide a dedicated environment for users to practise and improve their flying skills.
No. The simple flying obstacles are optional and are provided to enhance the recreational flying experience. Users may choose whether to utilise them during their session.
Yes. Spectators are welcome to observe from the designated viewing areas outside the flying zone. For safety reasons, only the booked participant is allowed within the flying area.
Each booking is limited to one (1) participant. If others wish to fly, they will need to make separate bookings, subject to slot availability.
If your unmanned aircraft becomes lodged in the netting or another inaccessible area, please do not attempt to retrieve it yourself. Inform the Customer Service Officer (CSO) or the onsite staff for assistance. Fees may apply for unmanned aircraft retrieval services, where applicable.
For safety reasons, flying may be suspended during adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain, thunderstorms or strong winds. Users are advised to check the weather before heading down, and SAFRA reserves the right to suspend flying activities if conditions are deemed unsafe.
