Wuthering Heights

Release Date:
12 February 2026

Starring: Jacob Elordi, Margot Robbie, Owen Cooper

Wuthering Heights reimagines Emily Brontë’s legendary gothic romance for a new generation with bold directorial flair and star power, arriving in theatres just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend. Directed and written by Emerald Fennell, whose previous work pushed boundaries with Promising Young Woman and Saltburn, this adaptation reunites her with Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob Elordi as the brooding Heathcliff, in an intense, tumultuous love story that reverberates with obsession, class tension, and emotional chaos. Shot against the windswept Yorkshire moors with lush cinematography and punctuated by an original soundtrack including Charli XCX, the film embraces the raw, visceral heart of Brontë’s famous classic while infusing it with provocative modern sensibilities. Filled with epic passion and cinematic reinvention, this new version of a classic tale promises a sweeping, unforgettable drama that challenges what we expect from one of literature’s most infamous romances.
