Crime 101

Release Date:
26 February 2026
Starring: Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Halle Berry, Monica Barbaro, Barry Keoghan, Nick Nolte, Devon Bostick

In Crime 101, director Bart Layton delivers a slick, slow-burn crime thriller that echoes the moral ambiguity and cat-and-mouse tension of classics like Heat, while grounding its story in contemporary anxieties about identity, ambition and reinvention. Led by a charismatic Chris Hemsworth as a disciplined jewel thief pursued by a relentless detective played by Mark Ruffalo, the film explores the fragile code that separates order from chaos, particularly in a world where loyalty, professionalism and personal desire constantly collide. Set against the sun-bleached sprawl of Los Angeles, it is less about crime itself than the psychology behind it — the need for control, the lure of the “one last job”, and the quiet corrosion of certainty as every calculated move unravels. For NSmen, the film will resonate as a reminder that discipline, foresight and moral clarity remain vital not only in operations but in everyday life, because in any high-stakes environment, the greatest threat is often the moment one strays from principle. So miss this star-studded, pulse-pounding thriller in theatres now!

Scream 7

Release Date: 5 March 2026
Starring: Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Isabel May

The long-running horror franchise returns to its roots with the comeback of Sidney Prescott, played once again by Neve Campbell, in a story that blends nostalgia with a new generational threat. This seventh installation, aptly titled Scream 7, is directed by franchise creator Kevin Williamson and centres on a new Ghostface killer targeting Sidney’s daughter, forcing her to confront the trauma that has defined her life and test the limits of resilience and protection. More than just a slasher, the movie examines how cycles of violence persist across generations, and how courage is not the absence of fear, but the refusal to let it dictate the story’s final act.

Screening at Shaw Theatres from 5 March 2026. Click here for more information and to book tickets.

The Bride!

Release Date: 5 March 2026
Starring: Jessie Buckley, Jake Gyllenhaal, Christian Bale

Transforming the familiar myth of Frankenstein into a sweeping Gothic romance charged with rage, desire and identity, The Bride! is filmmaker Maggie Gyllenhaal’s reimagining of a classic monster tale but told with bold, rebellious energy. Starring Jessie Buckley, Jake Gyllenhaal and Christian Bale, the film follows a murdered woman resurrected in 1930s Chicago to become a companion for the lonely monster, only for the pair to ignite a dangerous, outlaw love that disrupts society and sparks radical change. Inspired by Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus and its cinematic legacy, this visually striking, punk-infused drama blends horror, romance and musical elements to explore themes of alienation, power and reinvention. More than a retelling, it feels like a defiant manifesto on self-determination, a reminder that even the most broken creations can reclaim their voice and reshape the world on their own terms.

Screening at Shaw Theatres and movie theatres islandwide from 5 March 2026. Click here for more information and to book tickets.

Hoppers

Release Date: 12 March 2026
Starring: Jon Hamm, Bobby Moynihan, Piper Curda

Hoppers is Pixar’s latest original animated adventure in which they leap into bold new territory with a wildly imaginative story that blends science fiction, comedy and environmental heart in equal measures. Directed by Daniel Chong and featuring an ensemble voice cast led by Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan and Jon Hamm, the animated film follows spirited animal lover Mabel, whose consciousness is transferred into a lifelike robotic beaver in a fantastical twist that lets her literally walk in another creature’s paws. As Mabel befriends charismatic animal allies and takes on a mayor bent on destroying their home, Hoppers cleverly balances laugh‑out‑loud moments with thought‑provoking themes about empathy, community and the impact of human actions on fragile ecosystems. Playful yet earnest, this film will make you both chuckle and reflect on our connection to the world beyond ourselves.

Scarlet

Release Date: 12 March 2026
Starring: Mana Ashida, Masaki Okada

At a time when cinema often trades spectacle for familiarity, Scarlet stands out as a bold and emotionally charged animated epic from acclaimed director Mamoru Hosoda that marries Shakespearean tragedy with mythic fantasy, inviting audiences into a world where vengeance and forgiveness clash with breathtaking visual imagination. Anchored by the fierce journey of Princess Scarlet, who traverses a surreal “Otherworld” between life and death in her quest to avenge her father’s murder, the film pushes beyond traditional revenge narratives to pose a timeless question: can one break free from the corrosive cycle of hatred and build a future rooted in hope rather than rage? With its stunning animation and adventurous spirit, Scarlet is a fantastical tale that reflect the very real struggles of loss, healing and the courage it takes to choose compassion over conflict — a theme that resonates just as profoundly off‑screen as it does in its richly imagined universe.

Project Hail Mary

Release Date: 19 March 2026
Starring: Ryan Gosling, Sandra Hüller, Lionel Boyce, KenLeung, Milana Vayntrub

If you are craving for a new sci‑fi epic to feast your eyes on, look no further than Project Hail Mary which arrives as a thrilling, thought‑provoking adventure that could very well define cinema in 2026. Directed by the inventive duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and adapted by Drew Goddard from Andy Weir’s beloved novel, the film stars Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace, a reluctant astronaut who wakes alone on a distant spacecraft with no memory, only to realise he holds Earth’s last hope against a cosmic catastrophe. As Grace pieces together his fragmented past and forms an unlikely bond with an alien companion, the story becomes as much about ingenuity, empathy and collaboration as it is about interstellar peril. With its mix of high‑stakes science, surprising humour and genuine heart, the film will captivate all sci-fi and action-adventure fans with its fantastical journey of curiosity and courage.

Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come

Release Date: 26 March 2026
Starring: Samara Weaving, Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, David Cronenberg, Elijah Wood, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, Varun Saranga, Daniel Beirne

In Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, the wickedly ingenious horror‑comedy that picks up the gruesome baton from the 2019 cult hit, Samara Weaving returns as Grace MacCaullay — still blood‑soaked and hunted — thrust once again into a deadly game with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) at her side. Directed by Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli‑Olpin and Tyler Gillett and stacked with a starry ensemble including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood and David Cronenberg, the sequel expands the franchise’s satirical nightmare of elite privilege into even more absurd territory, where powerful families will kill to secure a twisted throne and Grace must survive once more or lose everything she loves. Balancing over‑the‑top gore with sharp comedic timing and relentless pacing, the movie not only honours its predecessor’s cult spirit but also amplifies its commentary on survival, sacrifice and how far one will go when backed into a corner, all served with winks, blood splatters and a wicked grin that horror fans crave.

Screening at Shaw Theatres and movie theatres islandwide from 26 March 2026. Click here for more information and to book tickets.

They Will Kill You

Release Date: 26 March 2026
Starring: Zazie Beetz, Heather Graham, Myha'la, Tom Felton, Patricia Arquette

Horror meets high‑stakes suspense in this pulse‑pounding story that keeps viewers guessing until the very last frame. Directed by Kirill Sokolov, They Will Kill You stars Zazie Beetz as Asia Reaves, who takes a seemingly ordinary housekeeping job in a luxurious New York City high‑rise, only to uncover the building’s residents are part of a hidden, deadly cult. As the tension escalates, what begins as a subtle mystery erupts into a relentless fight for survival, blending chilling horror with darkly comic moments. With a strong supporting cast including Tom Felton, Heather Graham and Patricia Arquette, and backed by producers Andy and Barbara Muschietti’s horror pedigree, this action-thriller mixes razor‑sharp suspense with wickedly dark humour, delivering an unapologetically gory adventure ride that fans of intense, boundary‑pushing cinema won’t want to miss.
