So Drama! Entertainment Takes Viewers Inside Specialist Cadet School In Every Singaporean Son IV

The fourth season of Every Singaporean Son (ESS4) returns with unprecedented access to the Singapore Armed Forces’ Specialist Cadet School (SCS), spotlighting one of the SAF’s most demanding 22-week leadership programmes. Spanning eight episodes, the series follows ten cadets from diverse backgrounds as they journey from Basic Military Training in Tekong to Pasir Laba Camp, navigating the Foundation, Professional and Combined Arms Terms while confronting the physical, mental and emotional rigours of becoming specialists. Adopting a more intimate, trainee-led storytelling approach, ESS4 captures candid moments of doubt, discipline and growth, while highlighting vocations such as Infantry, Singapore Combat Engineers and Army Intelligence. Among those featured are Specialist Cadet Jackson Tan, who aspires to earn the coveted Golden Bayonet, and SCT Ali Redza, who aims to clinch the distinguished marksmanship award. Don’t miss this inspiring series which reflects the real life struggles faced by  full-time National Servicemen during National Service and how they overcome the challenges.

Premiering on 16 February 2026, new episodes air every Monday on the Ministry of Defence’s YouTube channel, as well as PIONEER’s Facebook and Instagram platforms.
