Hari Raya Aidilfitri is a time of renewal — a season marked by gratitude, forgiveness and joyful reunions around the dining table. This March, SAFRA brings that spirit to life across its clubhouses with Together This Raya @ SAFRA (16–29 March 2026), inviting NSmen and their families to not only celebrate the festivities, but to immerse themselves in meaningful, hands-on experiences that highlight the beauty of Malay-Muslim culture.

While festive décor and seasonal cheer set the tone, it is the thoughtfully curated activities and exclusive giveaways that truly define this year’s celebration. Designed to be interactive, educational and family-friendly, the SAFRA Members’ Exclusive activities encourage members to explore the traditions behind Hari Raya in engaging ways.

A Quest for Cultural Discovery

One of the standout activities is the Raya Wonder Quest, a self-guided exploration game conducted at all SAFRA clubs. Families journey through various checkpoints within the clubhouse, where iconic Hari Raya elements are displayed. From traditional festive delicacies to symbolic decorative items, each stop reveals fascinating nuggets of cultural insight.

Children can scan for Raya iconic items and compare answers with their parents, turning what might otherwise be a simple walkabout into an enriching bonding activity. The Quest is not merely about getting the right answers — it is about sparking curiosity and conversation. One of the quiz questions will ask you to identify Hari Raya items found around the clubs, an activity which transforms the clubhouse into a lively learning space for you and your fam.

Participants who complete the Quest with all correct answers receive a limited-edition Eid ketupat container, a charming and practical keepsake inspired by the traditional rice dumpling synonymous with Hari Raya. Its exclusive design makes it a coveted collectible, and many families leave proudly carrying their prize, a tangible reminder of the day’s shared discovery.

Test Your Raya Knowledge

For members who enjoy friendly competition, the Hari Raya Trivia Contest offers another avenue to participate. Hosted on the SAFRA mobile app and online portal, the digital quiz challenges members’ knowledge of festive customs, attire, heritage and local practices.

The trivia format allows participation anytime during the campaign period, making it convenient for busy NSmen balancing work and family commitments. Questions range from the origins of popular dishes to the meanings behind common greetings exchanged during the festive season.

The contest allows participation across age groups, proving that cultural learning can be both accessible and enjoyable. Winners can stand to walk away with a prize of $10 SAFRA Rewards Voucher, but beyond the rewards, the activity fosters a deeper appreciation of the traditions that shape Singapore’s multicultural identity.

Festive Treats and Exclusive Redemptions

No celebration feels complete without special treats, and Together This Raya delivers on that front as well. Throughout the event period, members can redeem exclusive Raya Treats For Joy, including Raya-themed gifts like the beautifully designed batik pouches and packets of premium dates, while stocks last.

These giveaways are more than token items. The batik pouch, adorned with traditional motifs, pays homage to Southeast Asian textile artistry — a subtle nod to cultural heritage. Meanwhile, dates, often enjoyed during the Ramadan period, symbolise generosity and hospitality.

Redemption counters with steady streams of members exchanging greetings and festive wishes while collecting their gifts — these simple interactions reinforce SAFRA’s role as a communal space where celebration feels personal and shared.

Strengthening Bonds Through Shared Experiences

What sets Together This Raya apart is its focus on participation. Rather than being passive observers, members become active participants — solving clues, answering quizzes and redeeming keepsakes alongside loved ones.

In many ways, the celebration reflects the values at the heart of both Hari Raya and SAFRA: unity, gratitude and community spirit. By centring its programme on meaningful engagement and thoughtfully designed giveaways, SAFRA transforms a festive occasion into an experience that educates, entertains and connects.

As the two-week celebration unfolds, members will leave with more than just prizes. They carry home new insights, shared memories and a renewed appreciation for the cultural traditions that enrich Singapore’s social fabric. Together This Raya @ SAFRA shows that celebration is most meaningful when it brings people closer — together!
