    This interactive puppetry performance reimagines a classic tale from Journey to the West. Follow the Monkey King and his companions as they outwit a cunning Spider Demon in a lively show filled with humour, action and audience participation.
    💰 $5/pax, each ticket admits 1 pax. Children 10 and below must be accompanied by an adult.

  3. Magical Sweet Monsters Workshop (Difference Engine)
    Let creativity run wild in this hands-on workshop where kids turn their fears into a sickeningly sweet monster! Inspired by the Magical Sweet Gula series, it’s a great way for children to express themselves through art and storytelling.
    💰$5 per child, each ticket admits 1 child and an adult.
  4. Monster Parade
    Don your best monster costume and join the festival’s crowd-favourite parade. Led by larger-than-life characters, this lively procession brings families through the Civic District in a playful celebration of imagination and creativity.
    Come dressed to impress! Standout “best dressed” participants can walk away with Crayola prizes worth over $80.
  5. Free Face Painting (2PM – 4PM daily)
    A festival favourite! Kids can transform into their favourite monster before heading off to explore the rest of the activities. Follow @artshousegroup on social media and interact with their posts onsite to redeem.
  6. Monstrous Fun Book Fair
    Browse a curated selection of children’s books from local publishers, spanning different genres and languages. Whether you’re looking to pick up a new bedtime read or introduce young readers to fresh stories, this is a great spot to spark a love for reading.
