Take your unmanned aircraft flying to new heights at Unmanned Aircraft Flying Area (UAFA) @ SAFRA!

As part of a collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), SAFRA is introducing UAFA@SAFRA on a six-month trial, bringing designated spaces for recreational unmanned aircraft flying closer to the community. Bookings are complimentary throughout the trial period, so national servicemen and families can enjoy the experience at no cost.

Located at selected futsal and squash courts in SAFRA Choa Chu Kang, Mount Faber, Tampines and Toa Payoh, UAFA@SAFRA offers a safe and dedicated environment for unmanned aircraft enthusiasts to fly. Simple flying obstacles have also been incorporated to make each session more engaging and enjoyable.

Whether you're honing your flying skills, taking on the obstacle course or simply enjoying the thrill of flight, head down to UAFA@SAFRA and experience a new way to fly at SAFRA.

Operating Hours

How to register?

UAFA@SAFRA is open to both SAFRA Members and Guests. Guests without a SAFRA account may create one during the registration process.

SAFRA Choa Chu Kang

Condition of Use:

1. This unmanned aircraft flying area is strictly for registered users only.
2. A maximum of five (5) users are permitted within the unmanned aircraft flying area at any one time.
3. Fixed-wing unmanned aircraft are not allowed.
4. Unmanned aircraft weighing above 1.5kg are not allowed.
5. Any unmanned aircraft with a total weight of above 250 grams must be registered before you fly.
6. All unmanned aircraft must be operated within the futsal court at all times.
7. Ensure your unmanned aircraft does not post a hazard to other unmanned aircraft, persons, or property.
8. As this is a futsal court, only flat shoes are allowed.
9. Unmanned aircraft operators are to keep the unmanned aircraft flying area clean and tidy after use.
10. Unmanned aircraft operators are fully liable for any damages to the property. Fees may be applicable for Unmanned aircraft retrieval.
11. The unmanned aircraft flying area is strictly for recreational use only. Commercial activities are prohibited.
