Discovery In Action is a year-long experiential initiative designed to bring Singapore’s story to life through a curated series of guided tours, immersive learning journeys, and exclusive behind-the-scenes access to key defence and heritage sites. The program aims to deepen public appreciation of national security, innovation, and service.

Windshield Tour (Singapore Navy Museum) [FULLY REGISTERED]

(Reporting time 10.30am at SAFRA Tampines)
Registration Fee (incl. GST):SAFRA Member - $8 per pax

Each person may register for up to 6 slots.

A tour through the Singapore Navy Museum offers an engaging look into the Republic of Singapore Navy’s history, heritage, and evolution. Visitors will be treated to an immersive gallery showcasing the Navy’s early beginnings, key milestones, and modern maritime operations. The museum features interactive exhibits, ship models and multimedia displays that illustrate how the Navy protects Singapore’s waters.

It is free and easy at the Navy Museum BUT this tour also brings you on an exclusive guided tour of the Changi Naval Base, an area that is usually not opened for public entry. Do not miss this rare opportunity for a chance to get a close up of this elusive site. You might just see or learn something new!

Please note that as you will be entering a military compound, you will be required to input your full name, DOB and NRIC upon registration for security checks.

Itinerary at Changi Naval Base

  • Panel sharing featuring women in the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN)
  • Navy mascot meet & greet
  • Various secondary School choir performances
  • Museum exploration trail cards with redemption upon completion (while stocks last)
  • Light refreshments such as Old Chang Kee curry puffs and Potong Ice Cream (while stocks last)

Program Details:

  • 10.30am to 10.45am - Registration at SAFRA Tampines Lobby
  • 10.45am to 10.55am - Boarding of bus from SAFRA Tampines
  • 11.30am - Tour commences at Navy Museum
  • 1.30pm - Return to SAFRA Tampines / Dismissal
