Rules and Regulations

Format of Play

• Qualifiers will be spread across two squads. Both Qualifiers and Finals will be played on 4th October 2026. The maximum number of players for each squad will be capped at 44 pax. Bowlers are only allowed to choose one squad of their preference on a first come first served basis. The schedule is as shown below.
• The qualifying round consists of one 3-game series, inclusive of handicap (if any). The top 44 bowlers after the completion of both squads will qualify for the finals.
• Finals on 4th October 2026 will consist of 5 games and the highest total score, inclusive of handicap if any, will be crowned SAFRA U13 Champion.
• Registration excludes bowling shoes and socks. Shoe rental and sock purchases are available at Sonic Bowl @ SAFRA Yishun counter.
• Lane change will be after every game and cross-lane play will be used throughout this challenge.
• The following handicap system will be in place for the SAFRA U13 Challenge 2026:

• When a tie is registered after Qualifiers or Finals, the player with the highest game (with handicap, if any), shall be the winner. If this still ends with a tie, the next high game will be counted, and / or repeated until the tie is broken.
• If there is still a tie after all games are accounted for, a one ball roll off before the finals on 4th October 2026 will be thrown to break the tie, and / or repeated until the tie is broken. If there is still a tie after the finals, a one ball roll off after the finals on 4th October 2026 will be thrown to break the tie, and / or repeated until the tie is broken.

Bowling Balls

• Participants may use their own bowling balls.
• Participants without their own bowling balls may use the house balls provided by Sonic Bowl @ SAFRA Yishun during the tournament.
• Altering of bowling ball surface WILL BE ALLOWED EVERY GAME (Note: Altering the surface of Sonic Bowl's house balls is not allowed).
• Participants who choose to use their own personal bowling ball do so at their own risk. SAFRA will not be held responsible for any damage to personal bowling balls or related equipment during the event.

Check-in Procedures

• All participants are to check-in personally at the tournament desk at least 30 minutes before the start of their Qualifier Squads and Finals. 
• The clock in the bowling center will be the official timepiece.
• Participants requiring shoe rental must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to check-in to avoid registration delays.

Terms & Conditions

• Participants must be 13 years old or younger, with a birthdate on or after 1 January 2013.
• Age verification will be conducted, and individuals who do not meet the specified age criteria will be disqualified.
• Organisers retain the right to withdraw any registration that does not adhere to the criteria outlined above.
• Each registration allows entry for 1 to SAFRA Yishun U13 Challenge.
• Registration excludes bowling shoes and socks. Shoe rental and sock purchases are available at the Sonic Bowl @ SAFRA Yishun counter.
• Fees stated above are inclusive of 9% GST. All payments are to be made prior to participating in the activity/event/workshop/course.
• Registration will be on a first come first serve basis.
• Complete the entire transaction to checkout with cart payment to ensure a successful registration. Your registration is not successful if you did not receive a receipt via email.
• Withdrawal/Cancellation: No refunds shall be given if the participant wished to withdraw from the event/workshop/course for any reason. No refunds shall be given or make-up session conducted if the participant misses the session for any reason.
• Outside food and drinks are strictly not allowed within the premises.
• SAFRA Yishun reserve full rights to cancel or change details of the activity/event/workshop/course without prior notice.
