SAFRA Choa Chu Kang and SAFRA Punggol are pleased to host the 9th MINDS Film Festival (MFF 2026). Organised by MINDS in partnership with the Singapore Film Society (SFS), this annual community event returns to the heartlands to celebrate the resilience, dreams, and talents of Persons with Intellectual Disability (PWIDs).
Featured Screenings
The festival brings two international films that offer unique perspectives on perseverance and self-discovery:
- Please Stand By (USA | English with English Subtitles). A young woman with autism embarks on a cross-country journey to deliver her Star Trek screenplay for a writing competition and discovers her own voice along the way.
- Super Wang Wang (超级望望) (China | Mandarin with English & Chinese Subtitles). Raised in the forest, a young boy with intellectual disability discovers his talent for speed skating and joins a Special Olympics team, overcoming prejudices and setbacks in pursuit of his dreams.
