Rules and Regulations

REGISTRATION:

  • All participants must register via the registration portal.
  • Teams will be informed of your allocated race slot and time via an Administrative Instruction that will be sent out to the registered team leaders' e-mail addresses one week before the race.
  • Participants are expected to understand the race mechanics and criteria before registering for the event.
  • For SAFRA Category, all participants must have a valid SAFRA Membership ID, Singaporean / PR to participate in the event. The Membership ID will be sighted upon race check-in, and failure to do so will result in disqualification.
  • For Open Category, it will be applicable for anyone that is not eligible for the SAFRA Category. 
  • All participants are responsible for ensuring they have received medical clearance from a qualified health professional before racing.

EVENT DAY PROCEDURES:

  • Teams are required to report one hour from their allocated timeslot for the race pack collection and race check-in.
  • After check-in, participants may store their belongings that is not needed for the race at the baggage deposit counter.
  • Participants must be dressed appropriately for the race.
  • All participants of SAFRA FitX will be automatically indemnified for the event.
  • After the race, each participant will be given a finisher Patch.
  • Only approved accessories can be worn during the race. Please see below for the list of approved accessories.
  • No wearable technology is allowed unless approved by the Race Director. Please see below for the list of approved wear technology.

DOPING / ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE:

  • The organisers is committed to uphold the integrity of the competition for all participants.
  • Doping refers to the use of prohibited substances or methods that can help to enhance performance unfairly
  • The event adopts a list of prohibited substances and methods aligned with internationally recognized standards by World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and Anti-Doping Singapore.
  • To maintain credibility, the event organisers may subject participants to testing due to the following reasons
    • Random Testing: Participants may be selected randomly before, during, or after the event
    • Targeted Testing: Based on performance, suspicion, or ranking
    • Sample Types: Urine and/or blood samples
    • Collection Protocol: Conducted by trained officials under secure and confidential conditions
  • Participants may use certain prohibited substances if it is medically necessary however a Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE) will be required to be submitted and approved before the event by the organisers.
  • The organisers reserve the rights to disqualify any participants suspected of doping and any decisions made by the organisers is final.
