As Singapore strives to stay at the forefront of technological change and maintain a competitive edge, we must learn to work smarter, utilize smart tools, and stay attuned to the latest innovation trends. The “Smart Nation Learning Nation” tour explores our efforts in transport and urban planning, offering a glimpse into Singapore’s own one-north, home to our innovation testbeds. The tour will also discuss the meaning of resilience and how individuals can prepare for such a future.
Specific Learning Points
- Planning is a vital discipline that has greatly benefited Singapore, given our limited space and resources. Working within our constraints has led to innovative solutions and effective prioritization of efforts.
- Transport links are crucial to a country’s development, requiring extensive planning and long lead times. Our transport masterplan aims to serve the country for the next 50 years.
- Making Singapore attractive to innovators and entrepreneurs is essential, but balancing this with societal needs has caused friction in the past. This will remain a challenge.
- To foster innovation and support agile technopreneurs, our education system and mindsets must be flexible and curious, allowing us to capitalize on the future economy.

Terms & Conditions:
- This event is open to SAFRA members only.
- 2-way transportation will be provided to and fro between the respective clubs and destination.
- Each registration allows entry for 2 participants.
- It is mandatory for all kids to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Registration will be open from 15 January 2026. Registration will be closed 3 days before the activity date or once the maximum capacity is reached, whichever earlier.
- Registration will be on first come first serve basis. All payments are to be made prior to participating in the activity/event/workshop.
- Complete the entire transaction to checkout with cart payment to ensure a successful registration. Your registration is not successful if you did not receive a receipt via email.
- Withdrawal/Cancellation: No refunds shall be given if the participant wished to withdraw from event/workshop/course for any reason. No refunds shall be given or make-up session conducted if the participant misses the session for any reason.
- Payments are non-refundable unless activity/event/workshop/course is being cancelled by SAFRA.
- SAFRA reserves full rights to cancel or change details of the activity/event/workshop/course without prior notice.
- The relevant indemnity form shall be filled in by SAFRA members who have registered for the event. Failing which, SAFRA reserves the right to refuse entry to any participants.
